The four year old class at LFLC visited King’s Supermarket in Gillette this week. We were greeted by Miss Nancy who stressed the importance of hats and gloves for safety in the store. We visited the floral, deli, bakery, seafood, meat and dairy departments and also had a “chilling” walk thru the freezer where perishables are stored. King’s blessed each child with a special treat of a cheese slice, cupcake and orange juice. The tour finished at the registers where each child scanned groceries and handed the receipt to the customer. They also received a nice goodie bag filled with healthy and sweet treats. King’s is simply the best grocery store ever!!!
