Officer Appreciation Day 2024

-

January 9th was Police Officer Appreciation Day on the calendar but we had to wait almost another month to celebrate this day with our friends at Bernards Township Police Station due to the flooding that took place in January as all officers were needed to help people affected by the floods. On February 8th Little Footprints Learning Center had three officers visit in police cars with flashing lights much to the awe and delight of the children.

The children got to talk to the officers and ask questions about what they do, see the flashing lights on the police cars, speak into the loud speaker and sit in the driver’s seat of a police car! After their visit, so many of us want to be police officers when we grow up! Thank you, Officer Tracy, Officer Greg and Officer Sly and to all the other police officers who do so much to help keep our communities safe!!
